Matt Klose started playing drums at the age of 9, learning in local bands and groups through his teenage years.
Having gained a BA honours degree in Contemporary music from Nottingham trent Uni, a career as a professional drummer beckoned.Since graduating Matt has played and recorded with a wide variety of Artists including: Matthew Jay (EMI), Nizlopi (FDM) featuring on the number 1 single ‘JCB’, Fug (Nuphonic), Weekend Players (London/Sire), Secret Stealth (Bocahito), Spektrum (Non Stop records) to name a few.During this period Matt was also writing and collaborating with the band Crazy P (Paper,Shiva) working on early albums such as 1998’s ‘The Wicked is Music’.
In 2002 Matt joined the band as a permanent member and work began on 2005’s critically acclaimed album ‘A Night on Earth’. Subsequent to its release the band embarked a touring schedule that took in much of 2006, visiting the whole of Britain, Ireland, Europe, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, and the Far East.
2007 has seen the band start and finish an as yet untitled new album due for release in early 2008. Along side this studio work the touring has continued, including a heavy festival seaon this summer. The high light of which was a headline slot at this years Big Chill festival.
With a new album in the offing and a tour of Australia and New Zealand already booked in for the new year the rest of 2007 and 2008 look to be getting busier and busier for Crazy P
