Mapex Drummer of Tomorrow 2011

Thank you to everybody that entered this years Drummer of Tomorrow competition. All entries have now been viewed by our judges.

The judging panel consists of Mapex artist and education Ambassador Steve White, Mapex A&R representative Martin Potts and Tech Music Schools Musical Directors Svetlana Vassileva and Simon Carter. All entries were independently graded by this panel and the scores awarded by each judge tallied to decide the final selection. 

We are pleased to announce that the five finalists are Adam Stapleford, Eric Kwame G, Jake Woodward, Thomas Carli Jarlier and Will Stokes.

Each finalist will be asked to perform a solo piece not exceeding 3 minutes as well as an accompanied piece to a self selected track at the live UK final which will take place in London on the 26th January 2012 in conjunction with Tech Music School

Thanks again to everybody who entered, we here at Mapex have been delighted with the high standard of entries to the UK leg of our Drummer of Tomorrow competition and the extremely positive feedback weve had from the judges throughout the marking process reflects very positively on this great drumming talent!
