News Welcome to the new Mapex.co.uk

It's here! Bigger, brighter and with more great features than you can shake or spin a stick at (that part's your prerogative).

We have been working on the UK site update for some time now and are delighted to release it to the wild world web with a whole bunch of new, rather fantastic elements (if we do say so ourselves) that we hope you enjoy.

Some of the new aspects that we're particularly loving include the exclusively shot demo videos for every product range, from Horizon all the way up to Orion and the Black Panther Collection sets. We spent two days in the studio with top UK artist Josh Devine (Skepta/Charlee Drew), setting up each kit and letting the cameras roll to capture the essence of the ranges in order for you, the browser to get the best impression of the look and sound that each encapsulates. We minimized all that stands between you and the drums so no compression, effects processing or EQ, just the same Audix mics, the same room, same desk, engineer and of course, our man Josh behind each kit, everything else is a combination of shell and drum head. We hope you enjoy watching as much as we enjoyed making them!

Alongside the demo videos sit image galleries that contain multiple, hard-angle shots of every configuration in each finish we offer to the UK market, again, to get you as close to the kit as possible before visiting your local drum store!

Navigation has been made easier and more intuitive, so related content appears to help provide all the information you need to learn about the drums and all else Mapex; independent media reviews, events, related artist content, it's all there at your fingertips.
